Mark your calendars for Open Streets Downtown on May 16, June 13, and July 11! We’re opening downtown streets to people and inviting Nashville to walk, bike, and explore.

There’s no registration required to participate. Just hop on your bike — or grab a skateboard, roller skates, or a comfy pair of walking shoes — and join us for a citywide block party! We hope you’ll find a new favorite spot in town.

Along the Route

Click the map for an interactive version!

The Open Streets Downtown route creates a car-free "superblock" around downtown Nashville and passes countless shops, parks, greenways, restaurants, and more. The event is the perfect way to discover a new favorite spot downtown — or a way to see old standbys from a new perspective by walking or biking.

We'll have staff members or volunteers located at each of the following locations:

Fifth + Broadway: Take advantage of our free Bike Valet service as you check out dozens of local shops and restaurants.

Printer's Alley: Wander one of Nashville's most famous pedestrian streets.

Riverfront Park: Walk Bike Nashville's headquarters. Check out the Nashville Downtown Partnership maker's market underneath the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, as well as many other community partners.

Walk of Fame Park: Enjoy sporty activities and artsy attractions, or join a bike tour from Music City Adventure Company.
