Open Streets Nashville is on Main St.
Sunday October 30, 2022, 12-5pm
Open Streets is a program by Walk Bike Nashville and the Nashville Department of Transportation
that temporarily closes the streets to cars to encourage people to reconnect to their communities,
get active, support local businesses, and play in the street. Open Streets is designed to stir the
imagination to rethink public spaces - understanding that our streets can have a multitude of uses.
Join us on a Sunday afternoon for a car-free Main Street to enjoy a streetscape activated
with artists, music, businesses, and activities of all kinds! Biking, walking, rollerskating, skateboarding,
scooters, hopscotching, dancing, double-dutching on the street is encouraged.
See the list of activities and information about temporarily installed protected bike paths for Open Streets on our Route page!
