Open Streets Nashville is coming back to Buchanan St.

Sunday October 17th, 2021, 12pm - 5pm

Open Streets Nashville is a program that temporarily closes the streets to cars to allow people to reconnect to their communities, get active, and play in the street. Open Streets is designed to stir the imagination to rethink public spaces - understanding that our streets can have a multitude of uses. Buchanan Street will be closed to cars from Dr DB Todd Jr Blvd to Rosa L Parks Blvd. We will have artists, musicians, artisans, businesses and activities all along the street and we invite you to join us! This is a great opportunity to hang, play, meet neighbors, and reimagine how we use our streets.

Biking, walking, rollerskating, skateboarding, scooters, hopscotching, dancing, double-dutching on the street is encouraged.

Hosted by M. Simone Boyd, Strategize 619, Clemmie Greenlee, and Walk Bike Nashville
